Do the ChaCha

Every time I go to New York City, I visit some of my old stomping grounds, the places I loved and frequented during college like Spice in Union Square, Bloomingdale’s in Soho, Washington Square in Greenwich Village, shopping on the Lower East Side and Grimaldi’s Pizza in Brooklyn Heights. I always try to hit up one of the Strand bookstores. I also like to visit Times Square to see a show, Bryant Park, Central Park  and especially Rockefeller Center. It’s where we got engaged over five years ago now and every time I walk the plaza I remember that amazing moment when my husband asked me to make the best decision of my life.

But every time we go, we try to get in a new experience. We’ve now become semi-regulars at McSorely’s Ale House. My husband loves the Dennis sandwich at Parisi’s. And I will only get my piercings with J. Colby Smith. During our trip last November we added a few new favorites.

Do the ChaCha

First up this week, ChaCha Matcha. We went to their flagship location on Broome Street and it was just the cutest place for a little mid-morning pick me up. I love matcha lattes and their coconut matcha latte did not disappoint! I also split a matcha cronut with my husband – and let me tell you that’s true love right there. That little pastry was so good I could have eaten them all day long.

While it is on the pricier side, this place is definitely worth it for the tasty treats and the instagrammable setting. Before you leave, take a few of the napkins to keep in your bag. It’s great marketing for them and gives you the opportunity to take a little New York with you wherever you go!
