While I definitely feel like I am 32 weeks into this pregnancy, I am a little overwhelmed that we are only 8 weeks away from my June due date. Everything is continuing to go really well however, there is still so much to do. At 20 weeks I started sharing everything we need to take care of before June and I shared an update at 24 weeks and then again at 28 weeks. Here’s what I’ve crossed off (or added in italics) to our list to prepare for our newest addition, not necessarily in order:
Get Arielle’s Big Girl Bed set up in her roomPlan a Gender Reveal Get TogetherLet our Pediatrician know we’re having a baby so we can get on her scheduleFind out if we’re having a Girl or a Boy- Come up with Name Options
Pick up a new Dresser at IKEA and get it installed in the NurseryTake the Bassinet down from the Attic and set it up in Our RoomClean up the Nursery Closet to make room for Baby ClothesMake room in the Dresser for Baby Onesies and SocksGet Baby Clothes down from the attic, washed and put away- Make sure the Nursery is Sparkling
Book a Maternity Session, Fresh 48, and Newborn SessionShop for Outfits for Photos and forArielle’s “Big Sister” Wardrobe- Buy a Baby Car Seat & Get it Installed
Prep my Hospital Bag- Work on Arielle’s Baby Book (I am the worst)
Pick up Postpartum NecessitiesPlan a 4th Birthday Party for ArielleGet out the carriage bassinet and make sure it’s clean- Pick up Newborn Photo Outfits
- Choose Maternity Shoot Outfits
- Enjoy Arielle’s Dance Recital and Preschool “Growing Ceremony”
- Pack my hospital bag

Still in my pre-pregnancy jeans though they are starting to get tight. Thank goodness it’s getting to be dress season!
