Kate Andrews is the founder and editor of Fashionably Kate & Co. She loves travel, fashion, the arts and hanging out with her family, including her husband, their one-year-old daughter, Arielle, and two cats.
A native of Boston, MA, Kate moved to NYC to pursue a career in acting. But she discovered the bright lights of Broadway weren’t as appealing as she had long thought. She transferred to Emerson College in her hometown. After graduating with a BS in Print and Multimedia Journalism and an MA in Broadcast Journalism, Kate worked in the Boston TV news market for seven years.
However, she felt something was missing and decided to leave behind her 9-5 and marry her love of storytelling, content creation and her creativity. That is why she founded Fashionably Kate &Co.
Since 2019, Kate has worked full time on FK&Co. to create a space devoted to her love of travel, fashion and motherhood. Her specialty is creating outfits and travel guides that incorporate budget friendly finds and splurge worthy experiences and pieces.
In her spare time, Kate loves to binge watch her favorite shows, listen to vinyl records, read and plan her dream trips. She also takes fitness classes and is a certified barre instructor.
Kate is passionate about women’s rights, supporting charities devoted to domestic violence victims and breast cancer research as well as mental health awareness.
You’ll find her running around Boston or the North Shore with her daughter.
