Fall just arrived but we’ve already been feeling the crisp and cool air that I usually associate with October. I am sad to see Summer go, but we have so much to look forward to. Keep reading for my fall bucket list 2022.
Apple Cider Doughnuts
I may have already gotten a jump start on our yearly apple cider doughnut tour (updated blog post coming very soon) but this is one of my favorite fall traditions. Not only is it fun to visit these new farm stands and stores, it’s a tasty way to tour the area!
Hocus Pocus 2
I will be wrapping up work early on September 30 so that I can camp out on my couch and watch the highly-anticipated sequel to my favorite Halloween film, Hocus Pocus. I cannot believe that after almost 30 years they brought back Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy, to recreate these iconic characters. You can check out last year’s post on local Hocus Pocus filming spots (which I’ll be updating soon).
Halloween
I know most kids loved Christmas growing up but my favorite holiday has always been Halloween. I think it’s the idea of dressing up and being someone else for a day that was so appealing (the result of wanting to be an actress and maybe be able to escape for reality for a few hours). Even as an adult, I love Halloween and have imparted that love onto Arielle. We do 31 days of Halloween costumes and I have so amazing content planned for the entire month of October – so stay tuned for that!
Farm Visits
I am not an outdoor girl and I suffer from allergies, so pretty much the only time you’ll find me on the farm is on a beautiful fall day. If it’s sunny and in the 60s or 70s, that is the ideal farm day. We’re so lucky to have so many great family-run farms in our area that have fun fall activities for the whole family, and adorable animals that Arielle can coo over.
Fall Foliage
We live in such a gorgeous area when it comes to fall foliage and one of my favorite things to do is take a long drive to do some leaf peeping. With the dry summer we had I’m not sure what that will do to the foliage, but we’re still hoping to see some of those gorgeous bright colors.
What are you looking forward to this fall?
