Happy National Cocktail Day! A Recipe for Kir Royal

Back in October, I shared the big news that I was launching a podcast with my friend and frequent collaborator, Jessie Wyman of Jessie Wyman Photography. The show ended up being a highlight of my 2020. Since today is National Cocktail Day, I am sharing the recipe for one of my favorite cocktails and more about The Cocktails & Content Creation Podcast.

The Perfect Kir Royale Recipe

Ingredients

• Crème de Cassis, Crème de Framboise or Chambord (My favorite!)
• Dry sparkling wine or Champagne, chilled
• Fresh raspberries

Directions

• Add Chambord to each flute (about 1/3 of the glass)
• Fill each flute with sparkling wine 
• Add 3 to 4 raspberries
• Enjoy!

The Cocktails & Content Creation Podcast was born out of conversations between Jessie and I about easy ways to do our work and distribute it. Though we operate in different fields, we are both creatives and we realized that we had a lot of the same questions and were dealing with the same situations. So we decided to take these conversations, along with our questions, and call in some experts to help us out. 

So far we’ve had Chelsea Marrs of @ChowdownUSA give us the lowdown on hashtags and soon she’ll be teaching us how to write the perfect Instagram bio. Natalie Mazzarella of Wear Your Are Now gave us some Instagram image inspiration, and will soon help us ban our troubles with body image on social media. And we went over some tips to using Facebook groups to grow our business with Ashley Mason of Dash of Social. And we have so many good episodes coming up!
