Small Business Saturday is here. Lately I have been all about patronizing small, women-owned businesses. From a one-woman operation that features quality made items directly from Italy, to a mother/daughter owned lifestyle boutique, to a boutique/salon partnership that gets in new items every day, these ladies are rocking it. So to show a little love for my favorite fellow female entrepreneurs, I’m sharing the specials they’re running today. Now – let’s go shopping!
Parla Apparel
Parla Apparel launched in Spring 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic. Born out of founder (and designer) Lauren Linnane’s love of fashion and her family’s roots in Italy, each item from Parla is made in Milan. While supply chain issues have prevented Parla from releasing a full fashion line, the company has some beautiful accessories and I am especially in love with the Carino wrap. It is the perfect travel accessory because it is the ideal weight to keep warm on a plane or in the car but you can also wear it as a shawl during a night out on the town.
This year for Small Business Saturday, La Parla is offering free shipping on all orders and a Prosecco scented candle with every purchase.⠀⠀
Sorellina Boutique
I was recently introduced to Sorellina Boutique, the sister store to Salon Bogar. The Boutique receives new items daily from brands like Liverpool, Nic + Zoe, and Free People. It has some great items that should totally have a spot in your travel carry on.
This year Sorellina Boutique is encouraging everyone to shop local by offering all guests who bring in a receipt from a local business (dated in the month of November) to receive 20% their purchase on Small Business Saturday.
The Merry Lion
Most of those cute Mommy & Me matching tees and sweatshirts I find at The Merry Lion. This mother and daughter run shop is chocked full of adorable clothing that is so Instagrammable so make sure to pack them in your suitcase.
For Small Business Saturday you can get 20% off all clothing for you and the littles in your life!
What are some of your favorite small businesses?
