Today Alex and I are celebrating our eighth wedding anniversary by doing something exciting and I cannot wait to share it with you all. But for now, I want to add one more thing I’ve learned about marriage just in the past few months. It’s something I never hoped I would have to learn, but in the end it has made our marriage stronger in so many ways.
After going through the miscarriage, Alex has shown me so much love and support. He has been my rock with everything that I’ve been going through, physically and emotionally. And because I know he’s there for me, it’s made life much easier to handle. While I’m still dealing with the aftermath and I still don’t feel like I’ve completely healed mentally, having his help has allowed me to take my time with that process. That has made all of the difference.
Arielle has brought so much to our lives. We had a strong bond before she came along, but I know it’s only become stronger since she arrived. And that’s why we hope to be able to eventually add to our family again. But if we don’t have that chance, I feel like we have the perfect little trio already the three musketeers!
You can check out last year’s post about the seven things I’ve learned about marriage here, as well as view our wedding album here. If you want to find out all about our honeymoon in St. Martin then you can click here.
The last eight years have been the best of my life and I cannot wait to see what’s in our future. Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, and happily ever after!
