As Seen In Quotable Magazine

You know how earlier this month I shared that you’ll now be able to read more of my work over on WDW Prep School? Well, I am proud to announce that I am adding to my list of publications you can find me in with my first piece for Quotable Magazine. 

This bi-monthly magazine is focused on entrepreneurship and business and is specifically geared toward women and those who identify as women. As a woman who founded her own blog/freelance writing businesses in 2017 and 2020, respectively, this is right up my alley. What makes it even better is that I enjoyed reading Quotable Magazine before I even dared to submit my ideas for articles. 

You can find my first piece, “How to turn your ADHD into a Business Superpower” online, but what I’m particularly thrilled about is this is actually my first ever article published in a print magazine. I know the world is trending towards an entirely cloud-based, online lifestyle, but there is just something so satisfying about being able to hold a glossy magazine in your hands and see your byline. 

I remember that feeling when I wrote for my college newspaper, The Berkeley Beacon, and seeing my byline every Thursday in the Arts & Entertainment section. It just felt good. 

Sadly the website for the paper has deleted articles from more than 11 years ago so most of my work is gone, though you can still see a few pieces here, as well as the 2022 profile they did on me and the podcast I co-host, Cocktails & Content Creation. 

I should share that I’m not the only one in the family making my magazine debut. Arielle also made it into the article – her very first magazine appearance! Don’t worry, family and friends, we will not let this go to her head … too much.

Once again, this new outlet will not be taking over for my own blog and Instagram. This is just another opportunity for me to expand my portfolio and write about business related issues, fulfilling yet another passion of mine. 

For the next edition of Quotable Magazine I’ll be sharing three things you need to know to start a business when you have a baby – something I know a thing or two about!
