Welcome back to the March edition of What We’ve Been Loving Lately! In this installment of our wrap-up of a few of the things we’ve been into over the past few weeks, we’re sharing life updates, what we’ve been watching and what we’ve crossed off of our shopping list. It’s a …?

Last month during our February edition of WWBLL I teased our upcoming gender reveal. And as I shared on the blog and via YouTube, we will be welcoming another baby girl to our brood this spring. We have so much to do still (this list just seems to keep growing and growing) and I’m not sure we’ll be able to get it all done in time!

Prepping for a Busy Spring

Which brings me to my next point – we have so much going on this Spring. I shared more about my spring plans in this post about my seasonal bucketlist. Hopefully we get it all crossed off before baby girl 2 arrives!

What’s on TV

We went from having to fill our evenings with reruns, to having more TV to watch than time! I am so excited that The Voice is back as that is always a fun show. I was really looking forward to the return of Ted Lasso but so far the episodes have been a little depressing. I am hoping that the tone picks back up, especially since this is the last season. We’ve really been enjoying the revamp of Night Court, one of my favorite shows from the 80s. John Larroquette doesn’t miss a trick. And the American version of Ghosts always promises a laugh. 

What we Bought in March

With all of the prep work we’ve been doing before the baby comes, I’ve been focused on organizational supplies to make our lives a little easier. When Alex redid my closet a few years ago I made the switch to these non-slip hangers and I love them. So I grabbed another box in the hopes that I can get started on organizing my other closets around the house. I also decided to upgrade Arielle’s clothes hangers, and get some extras for the outfits I know will be coming when the baby arrives. And I am loving these drawer organizers for her dresser. Soon I’ll do a post on the other updates we’ve made to the nursery.  Finally, for a kid who was born bald, Arielle has a ton of hair and subsequently a ton of headbands. I found this clever organizer that gets the headbands off the top of the dresser so I have more room for knick-knacks. 

I’ve also started shopping for Arielle’s Big Sister wardrobe and fell in love with this adorable sweatshirt that she can wear into the hospital to visit her baby sister. And these lacy bike shorts will look so cute under one of her tutus.
