What it’s Like to Have a Miscarriage

April school vacation week, but make it chic. 🥂✨ April school vacation week, but make it chic. 🥂✨

Welcome to Part 2 of our favorite local “vacation” escapes!

We are balancing the beautiful chaos of kid energy with some unapologetic glamour this week. Because who says you can’t pair a stroller with a little coastal castle exploring?

Here is the itinerary for surviving (and actually enjoying) the week:

* The New England Aquarium: A Boston staple. Surviving the penguin exhibit before noon is basically an Olympic sport.
* House of Seven Gables: A dose of history with a slightly moody, coastal edge.
* Beauty and the Beast at the Citizen’s Opera House: Swapping the sneakers for something polished to take in some pure theater magic.
* The Malibu Barbie Cafe: Serving all the pink, playful sparkle, and unapologetic feminine energy for the girls.
* Hammond Castle: Stunning European stone architecture right on the water. No passport required.
* Castle Hill Crane Estate: We took the Cat’s Meow tour on Saturday and it was absolute twenties perfection.
* Avra: Sleek, chic, and strictly for the parents. You’ve earned a spectacular cocktail.

It’s high-low motherhood at its finest. No boarding pass required, just a great pair of sunglasses and a very strong espresso. ☕️🕶️

Happy Patriot’s Day! 🇺🇸✨ Most days, you’ll find m Happy Patriot’s Day! 🇺🇸✨

Most days, you’ll find me sharing our chicest travel itineraries, boutique hotel finds, and the beautifully curated chaos of packing stilettos and strollers for our next flight. And while building this travel diary is the absolute dream, I realized lately that I rarely drop a reel on the feed just for the pure, unscripted fun of it.

So today, we’re taking a detour from the polished programming. Throwing it back to 2022 in Lexington and 2023 in Concord, featuring a 3- and 4-year-old Arielle who was entirely committed to her role as a fiercely adorable Patriot soldier. History never looked so fabulous.

(A quick disclaimer before you turn the sound up: as much as it sounds like she’s passionately screaming “The bridges are coming!,” she is, in fact, warning us about the British. Context is everything, darlings. 🤺)

It’s a little raw, incredibly silly, and exactly the kind of offbeat memory that makes this whole motherhood gig the ultimate adventure. I am already plotting the exact moment I can wrangle Aurora into this very same uniform to reenact the reenactment.

Raise a glass to the history, the beautiful chaos, and the hilarious little moments in between! 🥂🗽

I was seven years old when I first saw Beauty and I was seven years old when I first saw Beauty and the Beast on stage. I had already decided I was destined to be an actress (obviously 💅), but sitting in that dark theater, watching a literal library come to life, I knew theater specifically was it. That was my spark.

Fast forward to this past week: a little bit of style, a lot of sparkle, and Broadway in Boston making absolute magic happen. Watching Arielle’s eyes light up exactly the way mine did when she is almost the same age? Utter perfection. 🥂✨

Beauty and the Beast is at the Citizen’s Opera House now through May 2.

What was the first show you ever saw that completely hooked you? Let me know below! 👇

Boston just got a whole lot more fabulous. 🪩🎀 SAVE Boston just got a whole lot more fabulous. 🪩🎀 SAVE this for your next Girls Day!

The Barbie Cafe has officially landed at Faneuil Hall (taking over the beloved Sugar Factory space for a few months!), and it is serving pure, unadulterated 1970s disco-glam magic.

Arielle, Aurora, and I put on our Barbie best to check it out on opening day, and it did not disappoint. From striking a pose in the life-size Barbie Box to eyeing everything in the boutique,

it’s the ultimate girls’ day out. I especially loved seeing them championing women-owned businesses with Cooper Street Snacks on hand—because empowered women empower women (and we also just really love a good snack).

It’s the perfect excuse to dress up, channel your inner Holly Golightly with a pop of pink, and make some wildly fun memories with your kids.

Confession time, darlings. Sometimes a girl just n Confession time, darlings. Sometimes a girl just needs to trade the toddler’s fish sticks for a flawless tin of caviar and a perfectly chilled bottle of champagne.

Last night, we got a VIP first look at Avra Estiatorio, and let me tell you—Back Bay just got a massive dose of Aegean glamour. Tucked into the new Lyrik development on Newbury Street, it feels exactly like stepping onto a whitewashed Greek island, complete with sculptural olive trees and the most stunning salt wall installations.

The move here is the signature seafood display. You literally pick your pristine, daily-catch fish right off the ice, and they grill it to perfection with hand-pressed olive oil from a family farm in the Peloponnese. It is brilliantly simple, and absolutely flawless.

I got to fully embrace the caviar-and-cocktails energy. It’s the ultimate soul reset.

Tag the person who owes you a chic Mediterranean date night below. Let’s get those reservations booked, loves! 👇🥂✨

Let’s be honest, darlings. New England in April is Let’s be honest, darlings. New England in April is basically a test of sheer maternal willpower. The calendar says spring, but the sky says, “Absolutely not.”

Enter my favorite sanity-saving hack: The Aqua Room in Gloucester. 🕶️💦

We skipped the TSA lines and booked a 2-hour slot at this indoor oasis, and it is pure VIP energy. For two hours, the girls get to burn off that unhinged, cooped-up energy, and I get to sit poolside in a chic cover-up, pretending we’ve been instantly teleported to a cabana in Palm Springs.

It is the ultimate soul reset. And because we don’t believe in doing a Gloucester trip halfway, we love to follow up our tropical illusion by swapping the swimsuits for something fabulous and grabbing a brilliant Italian dinner over at Tonno.

Paradise found, right on the North Shore.

Save this for the next time the weather (or your patience) refuses to cooperate. 🥂✨

Share this with a friend and start making plans!
