Fashionable Masks

While it’s important for me to normalize Quarantine and this age of Covid-19 for Arielle, I recognize that life has changed. I know what I’m about to say is controversial, even though it shouldn’t be ….

We should all be wearing a mask. 

Any time you are indoors in a place other than your home, wear a mask. If you’re outside with a lot of people, wear a mask. It should be a no brainer by now. 

I’m lucky to be living in Massachusetts where it’s a state mandate to wear a mask. We’ve seen our numbers drop and they have been staying low even as businesses and restaurants reopen. If that doesn’t convince you to wear a mask, I don’t know what will. 

I look at wearing a mask in two different ways – I’m keeping my family and me safe and healthy and it’s another accessory for my outfits. After all, clothes started out as a way to cover our bodies from the elements and we’ve certainly taken liberties with what we wear. Why not make masks part of our outfits?

My favorite masks! They are the most comfortable and the black star mask matches most of my outfits. I do love the white mask with its little embroidered flowers – perfect for summer! Since I ordered this three pack ($40 but they always have coupons) they’ve released a few different sets that I plan on ordering ASAP.

I recently discovered this boutique and I am in love. I actually bought my pink star and cheetah print masks in store, but they also ship. They are comfortable and easy to breath through.

These are still on pre-order but, let’s face this, it’s going to be a long time before we have to retire the mask. As a huge Disney freak I cannot wait to sport these around town.
