Happy Holidays

I think we all can agree it’s been a strange and scary year. So while I’d usually love to share a message of excitement and celebration, I realize that for many this is not a celebratory time. With so many lives and jobs lost, so many businesses forced to close and families unable to gather together, I feel this Christmas is more a time for reflection and gratitude for what we still have, as well as an opportunity to manifest hope for the future.

As I was watching Noelle on Disney+ the other day, I was particularly struck by a line that I feel I didn’t really hear when I first watched it last year: 

“It’s not just the presents we get, it’s the presents we give: the presents of love and understanding.”

This year, more than toys, or jewelry, or cars, or robes, I think it’s most important that we all be kind to one another. It is through kindness that we’ll get through this together.
