Kate’s Take: 3 Must-Visit Cafés in Mystic, CT

Mystic, Connecticut, is a charming coastal town that’s brimming with delightful surprises. While its historic seaport and captivating aquarium often steal the spotlight, Mystic also boasts a collection of adorable cafes that are perfect for a cozy coffee break, a sweet treat, or a whimsical escape. Here are three of my favorites:

1. Alice in the Village

Step into a whimsical wonderland at Alice in the Village. This enchanting cafe, nestled in Olde Mistick Village, is inspired by the beloved tales of Alice in Wonderland. With its quirky decor, colorful treats, and playful atmosphere, it’s a feast for the senses and a delight for all ages.

Must-Try: Their creative coffee creations and colorful pastries are a must.

2. The Cloak and Wand

For those who dream of Hogwarts and magical adventures, The Cloak and Wand is a must-visit. This unique café and shop offers a delightful blend of wizarding wonders and delicious treats. Sip on a “Butterbeer” latte, indulge in a “Cauldron Cake,” and browse their collection of wands, robes, and other magical merchandise.

Must-Try: Their “Potion Making”  is a fun and interactive experience for both kids and adults to craft their drinks.
