It never fails. No matter how early I start my shopping, I always end up scrambling at the last minute. There is either someone I’ve forgotten, or an unexpected guest, or maybe I put together a gift for someone I’m really close to and I feel like it’s missing something. Am I hitting a chord yet? My mom gave me a subscription to Disney+ for my birthday and between all the films and shows that I love, as well as the programming available for Arielle, it has quickly become one of my favorite gifts ever. I used to love the Sephora Play! Box when it would arrive on my doorstep each month. Luckily I found the Allure Beauty Box soon after Sephora ended their program. Through both boxes I’ve discovered some amazing products that I’ve bought several times over since trying them out. A monthly beauty box subscription is perfect for the skincare or makeup addict in your life.

Birchbox subscription and Glossybox both have a ton of different gifting options. I was actually listening to a specially curated Spotify playlist when I gave birth to Arielle. I just love the music and podcasts that I find on this popular streaming service. There is also Apple Music, which you can gift by just buying an Apple Gift Card, YouTube Music, Pandora Plus, and Amazon Music Unlimited. If they’re into classical music, a subscription or Idagio or Primephonic would be the perfect gift. 

Gift Cards and E-Gift Cards

And of course there is the classic option of Gift Cards and E-Gift Cards, available from any major retailer. I anticipate that E-Gift Cards may be bigger than ever this year because so few people are going to be traveling for the holidays. Sometimes gift cards can seem like a cop out, but really I enjoy getting and giving them. I figure that way people can get that sweater dress they’ve been eyeing, the booties, winter boots or over the knee boots on their wishlist, or the ever-popular Spanx faux leather leggings.
