I don’t know about you, but before I started putting together this gift guide, I hadn’t purchased a single Christmas present. Usually, I’m almost done before Thanksgiving. And though I’ve been watching Christmas movies since the day after Halloween (if Hallmark charged for the time I spend on their channel, I’d be broke by now), I just hadn’t felt inspired. For one thing the holidays are going to be very different this year with no real festive events or visits. I also wanted to be mindful of the fact that many people are having financial troubles due to the pandemic.
So I took all of that into consideration and assembled an array of gifts that are thoughtful, personal, sometimes a bit humorous, and most importantly, assures your grandmother, sister, brother, niece, nephew, bff, aunt, business bestie, uncle, etc., that they are not alone during these difficult times. My daughter is obsessed with taking things apart and putting them back together. So my first thought for her Christmas gift was a classic lego set. And though I wouldn’t consider it your typical building blocks set, it will allow her to put together her own version of Paris – and then one day we can show her the real thing! You can also purchase the New York City set – which I may have to get her for her birthday!
This Is Paris Kids Travel Book
Another idea to inspire future globe-trotters! I love travel gifts and this book is specifically geared towards young minds. And why not? I caught the travel bug when I was barely knee-high and I’m hoping that Arielle does the same!
What child doesn’t love dinosaurs? This interactive kit allows them to dig up 12 dinosaur eggs and discover 12 unique dinosaur species.
