For the Ferry Ride

I found my Wooden Ships “Beach Babe” sweater (different color here) and Madewell The Emmett Wide-Leg Full Length Jeans to be the perfect outfit for traveling in the muggy Massachusetts July weather.

For Checking into the Hotel

I picked up these adorable matching “Mermaid Wannabe” t-shirts at Soft as a Grape in Falmouth, MA. While ours say Cape Cod, you can find them with Lewes, DE written on the front here. Arielle’s mermaid sequin shorts are from Kohl’s but are only available in 12 month size currently. Aurora’s shorts

For Lounging by the Pool (or Splashing in it!):

The girls’ matching Barbie bikinis were a Target find. They have since sold out but I found a similar style over on Amazon. My caftan is from Barefoot Dreams and it is so comfy. The one downside is when you wash it the materials seems to pill. Sunglasses are my favorite Le Specs Air Heart frames. And my black and white striped Barbie-insired suit is also from Amazon and it is so flattering!

For the Fancy Clambake

This linen short sleeve button down dress was a TJMaxx special and I forget if it’s Tahari or Rachel Zoe but I found a colorful version online here.

For a Quick Dip at Children’s Beach

This onesie has become a favorite of mine since I am a huge Jaws fan. While it’s only available as Soft as a Grape, you can find a similar onesie at Walmart.

For Hanging Around the Nantucket Hotel

I have been living in this linen dress from Target all summer – I have it in the coral and black – and right now it’s on clearance for $15 online in a myriad of colors. This triple compartment satchel handbag from Target’s A New Day™ brand is another MVP for this summer so while it’s on the more expensive side for their items it is totally worth it and it comes in a few different finishes and colors. Target’s Becca studded ankle strap sandals are super comfortable too. I wore them everywhere.

For Beach Walks

These slides look so much more expensive than they are – and they’re currently on sale! The St. Tropez version is only available in this cream color but you can get them in black and white with Capri written across them as well.

For the Cutest Mama and her Minis Matching Moment:

I swore I would never buy a Hill House Home dress because I thought they would look unflattering on someone as short as me (4’11”). But I was totally wrong. I am wearing a size XS in their popular nap dress though I have to be honest, I cannot find this print on their website! I picked up our matching pink hydrangea dresses at their Nantucket store and I am absolutely in love with how sweet my girls look in them. And I just can’t resist an opportunity to match!

By packing smart with these stylish essentials, moms and kids can embrace the island’s unique vibe while staying comfortable and chic. So, pack your bags, gather your loved ones, and embark on an unforgettable Nantucket adventure filled with laughter, memories, and effortless style. What it’s Like to Have a Miscarriage

A very New York kind of magic. ✨ One minute we’re A very New York kind of magic. ✨

One minute we’re admiring the diamonds at the AMNH, where I am quietly debating if a 500-carat sapphire pairs best with pearls or my leather jacket, and the next, Aurora is blinking awake in her carriage to the sound of dozens of strangers belting out a classic at Strawberry Fields. 🥂

Honestly, slipping into a daydream when you are surrounded by that much unapologetic sparkle is practically a rite of passage—even for a little one catching a nap on the go. But rolling the stroller out into the fresh air for a spontaneous park-bench chorus? That is exactly the kind of city magic you just can’t plan.

Throw on your comfiest heels, grab an espresso, and let the city completely rewrite your family itinerary today. You never know where the detour will take you. 🚕 🍎

102 floors up, and right now, it truly feels like 102 floors up, and right now, it truly feels like we have the world at our feet. ✨

Celebrating 12 years in the very city where we got engaged—and where my own NYC story started—is pure magic. Watching our two girls thrive and fall completely in love with the city makes this milestone that much sweeter.

But let’s be unapologetically real for a second: marriage isn’t just about these glittering, top-of-the-world high notes. It’s about the grit behind the glam. It’s how you show up as an absolute team when the view isn’t so pretty, relying on each other through the tough, messy seasons that take real work.

Through the sky-high moments and the days that require all the hustle and heart we’ve got, there is absolutely no one else I’d rather navigate it all with.

Happy 12 years, Alex. Here’s to the climb, the view, and our beautiful, wonderful life together. 🥂🗽🖤

We are officially trading the quiet morning routine for the absolute magic and beautiful chaos of Manhattan! I wanted to start this trip off with a little bit of mystery, so before the girls even opened their eyes, the clues were waiting for them. There is nothing quite like that split-second realization when they figure out we are heading to the city.

The bags are packed, the sneakers are laced, and we are ready to take a bite out of the Big Apple.

Do you surprise your kids for trips, or do they help you count down the days? Let me know below! 👇

This is 40.🥂✨ For as long as I can remember, I ha This is 40.🥂✨

For as long as I can remember, I had this recurring dream. I’d be a little girl, sitting in front of a mirror, watching myself age. And right before I hit my 40th birthday, I would just… disappear. For years, I carried this quiet, nagging fear that my story was supposed to end before this decade even began.

But plot twist: I didn’t fade out. I just finally found my lighting.

I am officially 40, and I’m living a life I never could have scripted, let alone expected to love this much. I’m married to Alex—the wonderful guy I took to my senior prom, who I’ve been with for 20 years (married for almost 12!), and who I’ve been crushing on since I was even younger than Arielle. I’m raising the most amazing, insightful, and beautiful little girls who challenge me in the absolute best ways every single day.

I am completely in love with our beautiful, crazy chaos. I get to hustle at multiple jobs entirely on my own schedule, collaborate with dream brands in ways I never imagined, and bring my favorite people along for the ride.

Today was delightfully chill by design. But behind the scenes, I am deep in planning mode for a once-in-a-lifetime trip where everything is aligning perfectly, and I get to work with globally known brands and iconic landmarks.

I had a little revelation in the shower last week (I’ll share the full story soon), but to sum up exactly how I’m feeling right now: these last 40 years have been an incredibly wild, beautiful adventure. But with everything unfolding for me lately, I have this undeniable feeling that it was all just dress rehearsal.

The main act is just getting started. Watch out world—I’m coming for you. 🖤🍾

Since we’ve already established that my birthday is the official August holiday, I feel it’s only fair to remind you that the big day is actually tomorrow. Which means, yes, you still have precisely enough time to find me something suitably fabulous.

I’ll gladly accept vintage Chanel, a fresh box of pastries from that impossible-to-get-into French bakery, or simply an uninterrupted hour to drink something sparkling out of a coupe glass while wearing tulle and a leather jacket.

Here’s to another year of unapologetic ambition, wearing the killer heels even when I’m wrangling the girls, and adding a little extra rock ‘n’ roll edge to the everyday.

Let the birthday festivities commence! 💖🍾
