The Nantucket Hotel isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an immersive experience that transports you to a world of relaxed elegance and personalized luxury the moment you step into its lobby, adorned with dark wood, rattan, and rich-hued furniture.
From the moment we were greeted at the ferry and whisked away with our luggage, to the final warm farewells from the staff who felt like family, our stay was nothing short of exceptional.
A Room Fit for Royalty (and Kids!)
Our spacious room felt like a luxurious retreat. The spa-like bathroom, complete with a separate shower and tub, was stocked with thoughtful amenities like makeup remover cloths and q-tips. Plush towels and comfy robes added to the pampering experience.
The kitchenette proved invaluable for our family, and the hotel even provided a pack-and-play and bed rail for our little ones. We were especially grateful for the delicious charcuterie board and bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us upon arrival – a welcome treat after our travels.
The separate bedroom with its king bed and abundant closet space was a dream!
Our daughter, Arielle, was delighted with her own little turret, where she set up her “princess bed.” It was a magical touch that made her feel truly special.
Amenities Galore: Pools, Spa, and a Kids Club
The Nantucket Hotel truly caters to families. The kid-friendly pool was a lifesaver, allowing our girls to splash around safely while we relaxed nearby. We appreciated the option of the adults-only pool, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere for everyone.
Poolside drinks and light bites were a delightful indulgence, and the spa and workout facilities beckoned for a future visit.
The Kids Club was a hit with Arielle. She loved spending time with other children, doing crafts, visiting the local aquarium, and riding on the hotel’s antique fire truck.
Speaking of the antique fire truck, we highly recommend booking a ride! It’s a fun way to see the island, and Omar, our driver, was so friendly and even snapped a family photo for us – instant holiday card material!
Culinary Delights and Charming Extras
The Monday night clambake, complete with lobster and Nicole’s enchanting singing, was a memorable experience that brought the hotel community together. The game room, stocked with classic board games, offered a fun and relaxing way to unwind. We would often stop in the lobby for complimentary cookies and cool lemonade before heading into the game room for a round of Close the Box.
The hotel’s gift shop, filled with charming mementos, and its prime location near Nantucket’s main attractions added to the overall convenience and enjoyment of our stay.
Exceptional Service & Kind People: The Heart of The Nantucket Hotel
Above all, it was the staff that truly set The Nantucket Hotel apart. Carlos and Fulya Castrello, the General Manager and his wife, exude warmth and charm, making every guest feel like a VIP. Steve and Kate in the concierge department went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless, and Nicole, with her friendly smile and beautiful voice, made us feel right at home.
A Return Trip Is a Must
We can’t wait to return to The Nantucket Hotel. It’s a place where every detail is carefully considered, creating a truly magical experience for families and couples alike. From the moment we stepped into the lobby until the moment we reluctantly departed, we were enveloped in a world of comfort, luxury, and genuine hospitality. The Nantucket Hotel is a true gem, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable vacation.
See you soon, Nantucket Hotel!
