Sparkly Accessories to Glam Up any Winter Outfit

This holiday season will be a little different with no real parties or get-togethers. But I am a firm believer that you shouldn’t just dress to impress, you should dress for yourself. So even though we’ll be staying home, just like we did for Thanksgiving, I’ll be jazzing up my outfit with some sparkly accessories, even if that means wearing rhinestones with my loungewear! Here are a few sparkly accessories to glam up any winter outfit, from the top of your head to the tip of your toes. 

Hair accessories were a real trend when I was in middle school and I was super into it. So I’m so excited to see this style returning. Give me all the sparkly hair clips, jeweled headbands, and rhinestone bobby pins you got! I also love holiday earrings, my favorite being a pair of star earrings that I wear well into the New Year. And since too much of a good thing is a great thing this time of year, I’ll even add a Christmas necklace. 

Who doesn’t love a sparkly clutch? You can go classic with this rose gold sparkly purse from Target, or bold with this silver sparkly bag featuring the Evil Eye, a unique choice for sure. Also, add a little glitz to your face with this face mask that you can wear when you’re dropping off presents. 

But why stop at the bag? Too many people ignore their footwear as an opportunity to make a statement. I love these Swan slides from Birdie. They feel like a slipper but look like the fanciest shoe – perfect for decorating the Christmas tree and settling in for a viewing of your favorite holiday movie. And you can wear them with some sheer socks or a metallic pair. I also happen to love my jeweled combat boots from Primark. They are comfortable, stylish and perfect for the holiday season. And if you’re looking to jazz up that sweater dress you wore on Thanksgiving, a sparkly belt is the way to go. 

Many of these choices also make great gift items for girlfriends, sisters, nieces and friends.
