Welcome back to our monthly series – What We’ve Been Loving Lately! This is the third installment of my wrap-up of some of the things we’ve been into over the past few weeks. If you haven’t read the March edition, you can check that out too for some great suggestions on new shows and products. So, here’s what we’ve been loving lately …
Tous le Jours
Full disclosure: I was approached by the PR company that works for this South Korean bakery franchise to come in and grab a bunch of tasty treats to share on my Instagram. As an influencer, this happens often. But it’s not often when I find myself wowed by the brand to the point that I can’t stop singing their praises.
Tous les Jours means ‘every day’ in French and this “French-Asian-inspired” bakery serves the freshest, fluffiest breads in classic as well as unique flavors, and the prettiest cakes that taste as good as they look. TLJ opened their first store in 2004 and now boasts over 1,650 locations worldwide so if you love yummy treats, check where you’re closest Tous le Jour is and head there now!
Monarch of the Glen
I actually watched some of this Scottish-based series when it first came out in the early 2000s but it dropped off my radar once Lexi (the cook turned … wait, no spoilers) left the show. It recently popped up on my TV’s home screen and what a blast from the past! It starts when Archie, the son of the Laird of Glenbogle returns home to take care of some family business, only to find out that the family business is failing. Lots of beautiful scenery, romance, and Y2K fashion makes this a must watch as far as I’m concerned. Watch out for a pre-Downton Abbey Julian Fellowes!
What I Bought in April
Two of these soft blush pink faux fur rugs arrived on my doorstep to help complete my mom’s living room and they are so luxe and comfy I may have to order one for myself! I updated my summer purse collection with Lonchamp’s Le Pliage Filet Knit Shoulder Bag in ecru. It reminds me of the French market net bags that I’ve been obsessed with for years, only with a modern twist. Now I’m lusting after the mini size! And finally, I made an impulse purchase when I dropped these flower headbands into my cart (in both fuchsia and pastel pink which actually is more lilac) for Arielle and me to have a matching moment. I’m so glad I did because they ended up working fabulously in her 3rd birthday shoot which I’ll soon be sharing with you all!
So what have you been loving lately? I’d love it if you’d email or DM me your recommendations.
