A Storage Solution for my Shoe Collection

I have a bit of a shoe addiction. So when my husband recently redid my closet (he did an amazing job and I can’t wait to share it with you soon!) I realized I made one tragic mistake in designing it – I forgot to include any real shoe storage. Enter this storage ottoman that changed my life forever.

I wish I could take credit for finding my newest storage solution, but it was actually my uncle who gifted it to me. He has a furniture addiction and had purchased the ottoman on a whim. But it didn’t really work for him so he passed it along to someone who needed the storage – me!

This ottoman has several slots along the inside and, depending on how high the heel of the shoe is, I can actually fit two pairs in each slot. The center section could be used for anything, but I stacked my sandals and slides there. All in all, I am able to fit about 30 pairs of shoes inside.

A storage ottoman is perfect for anyone looking for space-saving storage solutions and the neutral look makes it appropriate for a walk-in closet, bedroom, living room or nursery. I keep mine next to my bed and use it to display the books that I am currently reading.
